Meditating in the moment
watching silent wings beat softly
in bright iridescence
inhaling the essence
of fragrant flowers
before being laid to rest
on their beautiful bower.
She, who today, has been chosen
to atone for all our sins
the balm to soothe the breast
of our broken mother, Gaia.

What a soothing thought, a balm to Gaia.
Another of your beautiful responses, Chris, nicely put.

A beautiful sacrifice, indeed. So much is sacrificed around us, and we don’t even know it! So thought-provoking, Chris, and engaging! Love it. x Hope your bigger WIPs are doing well!

Thanks Jean! I’m at least in the right ‘environmental space’ for my novel. Just trying to belt through the remainder of the first draft. Great to hear from you as always xxx

I would so very much like to believe that some of our good thoughts reach the unknown to sooth those who require that we humans need to give such attendance.
