The Pull of the Ocean

the pull of the ocean by chris hall lunasonline
Source

The sun begins its descent, radiating its last rays, before

slipping behind the mountain.

The ebb and flow of the tide, which waits for no man,

or woman.

Like time, running out.

Running freely, like the grains of sand.

I walk out.

Walk.

Until the sea

and I

become

one.

    • Yes it is, well-spotted! That’s its ‘iconic’ face. I live the other side where the flat top isn’t actually visible, but you can see it from the beach and the sunsets are wonderful. There are several restaurants all along the coast – I’m sure you’d enjoy 🙂
